Water Poem
The water stretches on and on,
a bitter fog, a sour sea
Look at where the time has gone
Breakfast now gives way to tea
I take my tea with you in mind
The waters rise, the waters fall
Though you are gentle, you are kind,
you have no love for me at all.
Always for me new siblings made
platonic in our courtesies
May Venus come now to my aid
and calm my heart's most stormy seas.
The waters ebb, the waters flow
Down the drain my heart and tea both go.
